The ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia II substrate for aquaria / aquascapes is made of 100% fine, natural black soil, has a high humic and nutrient content and is also suitable for harder starting water. With the new ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia II, there is hardly any water cloudiness in the run-in phase of the aquarium, which contains less nitrogen in the ADA Amazonia II than the previous version. The ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia II, especially in combination with the ADA Power Sand Basic or Advanced, ensures strong and healthy aquarium plants.

A high pH of the soil substrate complicates the nutrient uptake by the aquatic plants. The ADA Aqua Soil series reduces the hardness of the water and lowers the pH so that most aquatic plants can absorb the necessary nutrients well and thrive. ADA Aqua Soil Substrate retain their shape and density under water for a long time, thus ensuring the circulation of water and oxygen through the substrate. The ADA Aqua Soil Substrate makes it easier for you to care for such hard-to-maintain plants as Tonina sp. and it is also ideal for aquarium dwellers who prefer soft water, such as Apistogramma and various ornamental shrimp species.
