1. Foundation of the company

   1996

   With more than 40 years of aquarium manufacturing experience and extensive knowledge of aquariums, José Pereira created Aquatlantis together with his three children, focusing on a more dynamic concept and equipping the company with advanced technology machines and specialized human resources. To this day, Aquatlantis has remained true to its principles, which have enshrined the motto of "Quality, Design and Innovation" and made it a leading company in aquariums production.

2. ISO 9001

   Nowadays, Aquatlantis is a certified company under the norm ISO 9001 for “Conception, Development, Production, Commercialization and After-Sales assistance of aquariums, vivarium, terrariums, stands, furniture, luminaires, filtration systems and shop fittings for domestic animals accommodation.” 

3. Mission

   Aquatlantis' mission is to actively participate in sustainable development and harmony with the environment, promoting animal welfare, providing the final consumer with products and accessories related to the reproduction and maintenance of natural habitats, allowing the maximum reliability and safety. The aim is to offer aquariums and terrariums that are authentic pieces of art for interior decoration, but at the same time they are functional.

4. Commitment to the environment

   An Aquatlantis aquarium is an article resulting from a thorough design exercise and a highly strict manufacturing process. Aquatlantis only use materials of high quality. The use of pre-selected aluminum and wood is also a focus of attention. Furthermore, the environmental concerns occupy a high place in the company philosophy. Aquatlantis uses recycled materials for packaging and plastic components. Likewise, we always suggest the option of LED lighting – a more environmentally friendly technology and high efficient energy.
